Note: Miracle Technology Co., Ltd. primarily manufactures wafers for foundries, hence its R&D expenditure and manpower are relatively low. Milo's main business is the agency sales of wafer foundries, so its business model focuses on market development and customer service rather than technology R&D. It is a business-oriented company, hence Miracle Technology Co., Ltd.'s investment in R&D resources (including funding and manpower) is relatively low.
Looking to the future, the Taiwan mask Group will continue to promote more products for customers in response to industry and global sustainability trends. This includes launching 22nm/28nm class masks for wafer fabs to manufacture higher-end chips, with applications covering image processors, digital TVs, set-top boxes, smartphones, and consumer electronics.Xsense Technology Corp, INC. will continue to launch more types of heat dissipation substrates for use in edge-emitting lasers, optical communication, and the wafer industry. Miracle Technology Co., Ltd. primarily provides one-stop services from product planning to after-sales assistance, covering wafer foundry services, optocouplers, GaN, MOSFETs, and other power devices and ICs. In the future, Miracle Technology Co., Ltd. will strengthen its technology and services to help customers shorten development cycles, accelerate market deployment, and jointly promote a sustainable vision of energy conservation and carbon reduction.
Innovation Management
In the field of mask manufacturing, innovation is not only a way of thinking, but also a crucial driver of the semiconductor chip industry. While the innovation process is fraught with challenges and uncertainties, it also presents abundant opportunities. Therefore, the Taiwan Mask Group actively encourages innovative thinking, starting with the "manufacturing process," focusing on identifying problems and developing improvement and innovation strategies to enhance production efficiency, improve product quality stability, and reduce resource consumption. These initiatives enable the company to continuously advance towards its product development and growth goals.
Our Group is a wafer-related technology group primarily engaged in mask manufacturing. Our core philosophy and quality policy is "continuously striving for excellence to provide customers with stable and superior photomask manufacturing services, and building long-term partnerships with them." We provide high-quality and customized photomask products to major domestic and international wafer manufacturers, constantly pursuing quality improvement to meet diverse customer needs. This year, Taiwan mask Corporation once again passed the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system renewal and annual audit, meeting all system requirements and maintaining a non-compliance record for three consecutive years. Agersen and Milo have also implemented ISO 9001 quality management certification to ensure that the quality of all types of products is guaranteed under standardized management, demonstrating our Group's commitment to product and service quality assurance.

Manufacturing innovation indicators achievement status
In response to the global trend of digital and intelligent transformation in manufacturing, Taiwan Mask Corporation is actively investing in the development of smart manufacturing, committed to integrating innovative technologies into production processes to improve overall efficiency and competitiveness. To achieve its long-term goals, Taiwan Mask Corporation has formulated six core plans, including Delivery & Scheduling, Clean Management System, RMS Centralization, iEDA (Intelligent Engineering Data Analysis), Defect AI Traceability, and Paperless. These plans will gradually improve the efficiency and transparency of production processes. In 2024, Taiwan Mask Corporation is actively implementing the following innovative systems and measures to improve production efficiency, competitiveness, and reduce the environmental impact of its operations: 1. Developing a smart shelving system, an automated dispatching system for inspection stations, and a factory-wide wafer positioning system to enhance digital transparency in production and achieve the three core functions of Semi-Scheduling, Dispatch, and Auto Assignment. This will improve factory production dispatching efficiency and reduce product queue time. This system is expected to go live in the first quarter of 2025, significantly reducing operating time and enabling paperless operation across the entire area. 2. Introduced KPES (Key Product Engineer Tracking System). This dashboard management system helps process engineers review and repair defects, improving repair success rates and saving cycle time. It also tracks the production process using MPC (Master Production Control) to determine whether to initiate backup photomask production ahead of schedule, reducing the risk of late delivery. 3. Implemented AMS-FDC (Photomask FDC System). By automatically collecting key parameters, it assists engineers in repair and adjustment, reducing production defect rates and mitigating the risks of late delivery and quality issues. 4. Updated or upgraded cleaning equipment, and retrofitted old machines to connect to the information system, digitizing production parameters. Real-time out-of-specification reporting enhances the sensitivity of equipment and processes to yield and real-time changes. 5. Utilized high-energy laser and semiconductor automation technologies for intelligent steel structure production. High-precision control and automated operation enable fully automated mass production of H-beams, requiring minimal human intervention for both mass production and intelligent control. In 2024, the BOX steel profile mass production equipment was completed. The automated architecture for both types of steel includes high-precision control, visual recognition, and mobile device operation, providing a comprehensive solution for architectural steel profiles. This will significantly improve steel profile production efficiency. The Group is also promoting low-carbon building labels for laser-welded steel structures to reduce carbon emissions from steel structure production, effectively achieving energy conservation and carbon reduction goals. 6. By the end of 2024, Taiwan Mask Corporation will have improved the packaging carton material. The cartons used for shipments will not undergo bleaching or painting processes, reducing the environmental impact of the manufacturing process and lowering manufacturing costs. It is expected that the new carton will be officially used for packaging after obtaining customer approval in 2025. 7. For Xsense Technology Corp, INC. sensing devices are installed at key stages of the manufacturing process, including heat dissipation substrates and wafer coating. These devices monitor plating liquids, plating measurement data, ICP (Inductively Coupled Plasma) impurities, and semi-finished products. This allows for real-time monitoring of the entire manufacturing process. Any abnormalities are immediately investigated and addressed to reduce rework time and scrap, effectively improving product quality.
