Identify Major Stakeholders and Significant Sustainability Topics

Identifying Stakeholders

Referring to the five principles of the AA1000 SES Stakeholder Agreement Standard, Taiwan Mmask Corporation defines stakeholders as groups that have a significant influence on the company, including customers, shareholders/investors, suppliers, employees, government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and the community. Our daily operations involve interaction with stakeholders through various channels, such as telephone communication, meetings, and satisfaction surveys. This report will address any significant issues raised by stakeholders.

Collate Sustainability Issues

In order to practice sustainability and respond to international development trends, our company has collected 19 relevant sustainability topics by referring to international sustainability norms and standards (GRI guidelines, SASB, TCFD) and industry concerns, and compiled them into a questionnaire for stakeholder assessment.

The Group conducts a materiality analysis questionnaire survey every three years, targeting the seven identified stakeholder groups. In 2024, 25 online questionnaires were collected. In addition to stakeholder feedback, each year, after internal meetings and discussions with the Group's management team, ten major themes are identified for 2024. These themes cover environment, products, society, governance, and economy. Three new major themes have been added compared to the previous year: "Customer Relationship Management," "Talent Attraction and Retention," and "Economic Performance." The management policies and performance results for each major theme are disclosed in the report. While "Air Pollution Control," "Water Resource Management," "Innovation Management," "Social Engagement," "Integrity Management and Anti-Corruption," and "Sustainable Supply Chain Management" were not included in this year's major themes, we continue to track and respond to the objectives related to these themes.
